Implications from Group C 1st day results

- Cameroon and Algeria both can neither qualify for the quarter finals nor become eliminated before the final group match.
- Egypt cannot be eliminated from the competion before the final group match, but can make quarter final qualification already perfect by winning their next game against Algeria
- Zimbabwe will need at least a draw against Cameroon to avoid premature elimination
