the-shot.com presents a collection of objects from wearable art to fashion inspired and associated with the World Cup tournament 2002 in Japan and Korea.

The page is a little bit chaotic and under constant reconstruction, but better something can be seen here this way rather than nothing as there was no time for a better structured approach.

Many of the objects play with the art of association: they only give hints of a connection to football rather than clear proof of a tie that cannot be severed.
In a later context they might even be used differently and so become as well part of a greater experiment on meaning and context.
But this shouldn't bother you: just like it (or not).

It is possible for men to wear the L version as size M or L like on the photo on the left, the rather suggested female cut disappeares when streched a little, still the shirt is not as long as most male shirts then.
 

The color is a strong and still beaming green, it was impossible to reproduct the tone on the screen, the photos all show the same basic model under different light and on different films. None of it can match the real color.

The jeans is part of a composition in which wearable art associated with the participating teams of the World Cup 2002 become a living picture.

The original has size s (about size 28?) ('low waist cut') and is classified as ifuz.de type-A-object.

The photo on the left still has a draft version. The eventual version now is worked with towelling and can be borrowed for exhibitions, events, productions.

A manufacturing of 'variations' (related copies) is possible as long as nobody has purchased exclusivity.
Such variations will likely cost something between 349 bis 549 EURO depending on the eventual implementation and the individual agreement on making fit, maintenance (repair, redesign), or shipping.

It is composed of a skirt made of vinyl and a dark blue and a suggestion of three crowns made of yellow towelling.
Like with many of the related drafts the idea is to play a bit with colors and known outfits rather than to have a direct application of a flag or a football shirt.

A second more direct version uses a white shirt with a little printed swedish flag anyway.

Reproductions of the ensembles or its parts can be asked for.
